The title aimed to praise young people with prominent contributions to the community over the year in nine fields of social activities, study, scientific research, security and order, defence, culture and arts, production, business – startup, and sports.
This year’s event received 171 nominees by 58 units. The jury selected ten outstanding young faces and nine potential young faces, who were awarded cash prizes of 50 million VND and 20 million VND each, respectively.
Speaking at the event, HCYU First Secretary Bui Quang Huy said that the awardees represent a new generation of Vietnamese youth who are hard-working, steadfast, daring to act, and know how to apply what they have learnt in life. They are also honoured for making a positive impact on the community, he added.
