Cat Linh - Ha Dong railway ready for commercial run in April

Thirteen trains of the railway project have all been tested, with an average speed of 35 km/h. Before being officially put into operation, the project must meet France's independent safety assessment as well as Vietnam's safety regulations.

Factors including signal systems, power supply, equipment and components of each train have been carefully tested. The general assessment has shown that all tested items meet the safety standards of urban railways, ensuring that when operational, the Cat Linh Ha Dong railway will run at a frequency of 6 to 10 minutes per trip.
