Cat Ba national park preserves medicinal plants
VTV.vn - Recognised as a World Biosphere Reserve, Cat Ba National Park is the habitat of over 1,000 valuable medicinal plants, which are used widely in treating common diseases in Vietnam.
The park has made notable efforts to protect this natural resource.
In its initial stage, three hectares of Cat Ba were dedicated to preseving medicinal plants of Vietnam. This contributed greatly to the future biodiversity of the park.
