Car sales grow 55% in 2015

According to a recent Vietnam Automobile Manufacturer’s Association report, Vietnam set a new record car sale high in 2015, with 245,000 cars, including both locally assembled and imported cars sold.

In 2012, Vietnam’s auto sales were 92,000 units. Sales have increased almost 3-fold in three years, and are up 55% compared to 2014. High economic growth has spurred the car manufacturing and sales sector.
