VTV.vn - Journalism can be demanding and challenging, but it can also be noble and rewarding. For the "warriors on the frontlines of journalism," there are sometimes unique and fascinating experiences.

Journalism is a demanding and difficult profession, but it can also be noble and honorable. Like any legitimate profession, journalism contributes to creating valuable information products for society. The dedicated work of  VTV journalists is no exception. Every journey and assignment provides an opportunity for diligent journalists at Vietnam Television to find new materials and innovative ways to deliver information to the national audience, contributing to a dynamic, professional, humanistic, and modern journalism industry.

The Spring Journey produced by VTV's Ho Chi Minh City Television Center, is  a case in point.  The production team worked hard to give viewers a visual treat  with fresh and emotional aerial shots.

This aerial tour  aims to convey the festive spring atmosphere to people nationwide and overseas, showcasing beautiful images and the honorable missions of officers and soldiers in the Truong Sa archipelago. It also highlights the vibrant preparations for the Lunar New Year by the military and local people in the southern region.

To produce the program, the Air Defense and Air Force took the VTV crew  on a helicopter flight over several locations, including Sa Dec flower gardens, Long Thanh airport, Thanh An island commune in Can Gio district, Da Lat flower gardens, and especially Truong Sa Lon island and DK1 rigs. Each location visited by the helicopter told a story of the bustling spring atmosphere.

During this special flight, the visit to Truong Sa Lon island and the DK1 rigs will touch viewers, showcasing the mainland's care and affection for the officers and soldiers who are guarding the nation's sacred sovereignty day and night.

The program team taking a commemorative photo

For the production team, this trip was one of the first that VTV reporters and cameraman worked from a helicopter. In the confined space, careful movement was essential to ensure safety, especially with the constantly changing altitude.

The crew endured moments of dizziness while suspended in the air to capture powerful  images for television and convey the message of a strong and resilient Vietnam.

This highlights that while journalism can be arduous and challenging, it also offers many unique and fascinating experiences!
