Calls for public support to combat youth cancer

VTV.vn - Increasing numbers of young people are suffering from cancer. The Brighter Tomorrow campaign has been launched to raise awareness over the issue.

Vietnam has 126,000 cases of cancer every year. Among these, 1.6% are children, with cases of leukemia increasing rapidly. The charitable programme has called on the public to support the Ministry of Health’s efforts to combat cancer by texting UT to the number 1406. The programme received 170 billion VND or 7.6 millon USD in donations as of last night.
