Binh Phuoc inaugurates Stieng ethnic preservation center
VTV.vn - The department of culture, sports, and tourism in the Southern province of Binh Phuoc held a ceremony to inaugurate a preservation center for the Stieng ethnic group in Bombo Village.

During the American war, Stieng residents would gather here to use pound rice to raise troops. The center has a special meaning in preserving the cultural and historic values of Stieng ethnic people and Bombo villagers.

The site covers an area of 113 hectares, with investment capital of 13 million USD. It includes a festival yard, reception hall, two Long houses of Stieng ethnic groups, and Xuan Hong primary school.

The province plans to promote tourism in Bombo village.
