ASEAN Foreign Ministers discuss regional issues

At the event, foreign ministers and representatives from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea discussed regional and international issues and preparations for the 20th meeting in November.

Participants exchanged opinions on the early completion of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, measures to implement the vision of ASEAN Plus Three which focuses on regional peace and prosperity, and the building of the East Asian Community by 2020. Anti-terrorism cooperation and security issues were also discussed.
