Asean, China boost economic ties

The event was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. In his speech, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed that Viet Nam stands ready to promote as a bridge between the ASEAN Economic Community and China.

Following the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli cut the ribbon to inaugurate the expo and visited Vietnam's national booth. With the theme "Beautiful City", the booth introduces the cradle of Vietnamese coffee, Buon Ma Thuot City in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak. This year, as many as 137 Vietnamese enterprises from 20 cities and provinces have featured the expo, displaying competitive goods to with potential for export in China and ASEAN.
