Aid rushed to disaster-hit areas
VTV.vn - On Sunday, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross decided to give emergency relief worth 1 billion 970 million VND (more than 88,000 US dollars) to help locals get back on their feet.
On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also decided to give one billion VND to the two provinces of Hà Tĩnh and Quảng Bình. Accordingly, victims' families will receive 10 million VND each, and the injured will receive 5 million VND each. All others affected will receive help as soon as possible.
