ADB forecasts growth at 7.1%

The positive economic outlook is based on increased foreign investment, robust agricultural export growth, record high domestic consumption, and favorable business conditions.

The ADB also mentioned some challenges that Vietnam may face this year such as state budget, public debt, and lack of highly skilled workers. This year may also see negative impacts from trade protectionism between China and the US.
