6 dead, 60 injured after train derailment in India
VTV.vn - At least six people died and 60 were injured on Wednesday when a 9-coach passenger train derailed in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
The accident took place in Harchandpur, located some 77 km (48 miles) south of the state capital Lucknow. The train was headed to the Indian capital from eastern state of West Bengal’s Malda town when the accident occurred. Nine people are in serious condition. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. A probe has been ordered into the incident.
