Since that historic moment, Vietnam Television's staff have strived over the past decades to provide increasingly high-quality programmes to the nation and abroad.
On September 7th, 1970, Vietnam Television broadcasted its first piloting programme. Until now, the number of broadcasting hours a day is 17,000 times more than when the pilot was broadcasted.
The first video camera is kept in VTV and the pioneers that contributed to the development of VTV will never be forgotten. This has encouraged younger generations to overcome difficulties and contribute to developing VTV in the future.
