38 works won golden awards at the 40th National Television Festival

After almost a week of evaluation, the 40th National Television Festival officially closed with the Announcement and Awarding Ceremony of the 40th National Television Festival held at Vietnam Television on December 16. The ceremony was broadcast live on the VTV1 channel and online on VTVGo, VTV News.

At this year's Festival, organizers awarded 38 gold, 63 silver awards and 109 merit certificates for submissions in 9 categories.

The organizers also awarded 2 individual prizes in the drama category which are Best Actress for Actress Ngoc Lan (playing Trang in the TV drama The Law of Heaven) and Best Actor for Viet Anh (playing Mai Hong Vu, TV drama Life and Death) who with an excellent performance contributes to the success of the work.

For the first time, the National Television Festival awarded 14 excellent works in the theme Ethnic - Mountainous areas category.

These sub-awards were presented by the Committee on Ethnic Minorities in coordination with Vietnam Television. In addition, this year's Festival also features the "Digital Content Interaction" award, which attracts a large number of audiences to vote for their favorite work.
