35th anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day

In a letter addressed to teachers across Vietnam, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha said that he hoped each teacher and educator will continue to promote innovation because they are the decisive factors in Vietnam's educational reform.

It was 68 years ago in 1949 when the charter of educators, approved by the International Union of Education Unions, pointed out that the freedom of teachers must be respected and initiatives should be encouraged, especially when it comes to teaching methods, as well as in the study pedagogical issues and expertise.
