21st Vietnam National Film festival ready to take place

Its theme is "Building a national, humanistic, creative and integrated Vietnamese film industry." The 74 competing films have been divided into 4 groups.

Four state-funded films will be entering the race for the Golden Lotus awards and will be competing with 12 privately-funded films. This year marks the first time that remakes from foreign scripts have been accepted.

There will be 1,000 guests participating in the festival including artists, producers, publishers, film organizations, international delegates, and diplomatic delegations. The 21st Vietnam national film festival ends on November 27.
