16th Francophone Summit concludes

VTV.vn - After 2 working days, the 16th Francophone Summit concluded in Antananarivo, Madagascar on Sunday (Nov 27th).

State President Tran Dai Quang attended the closing ceremony. During the summit, the leaders discussed measures to boost development with responsibility, ensuring peace and stability among the francophone countries.

They also discussed the implementation of sustainable development goals, commitments of the Paris agreement on climate change, and the Francophone Cooperation Strategy Framework from 2015-2022.

At the end of the summit, leaders of participating countries signed the Antananarivo Statement and 13 resolutions on measures to boost cooperation between French-speaking countries.
