16,6 million USD ODA project signed

The project will help foster disaster prevention in the basin of the Huong River in Thua Thien Hue Province. Through the development of a comprehensive disaster management system, a system for monitoring rainfall data and water levels will be improved, minimising damage caused by torrential rains.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is the lead agency for the project, and will be responsible for allocating sufficient human and budget resources. The project will be implemented within 36 months from 2017 to 2020.
