The event attracted more than 100 young people selected from training activities and with sustainable energy initiatives that have been implemented in the community, along with experts and units operating in the field of sustainable energy and climate change.
The event aimed to share the results after three years of implementation of the Youth Initiative Programme on Energy Transition, while at the same time expanding the contribution of young people in the process of equitable energy transition.
The Youth Initiative on Energy Transition calls for the participation of young people in the process of low-carbon production and climate-friendly energy use at the local and national scale from 2022-2024.
Over the past 3 years, 33 projects have been initiated by young people in 18 provinces and cities across the country. A total of 62,190 children, 847 young people, and 570 other people have directly benefited from the resulting facilities, training, and communication.
Some outstanding projects include: energy-saving houses and gardens; design of high-intensity wastewater treatment systems using solar energy for shrimp farms; aquaculture energy circulation; little "superheroes" saving energy; raising awareness of sustainable energy for children in Da Lat; and more.
