The Singapore Sports Hub will mark its one-year milestone by ramping up its event calendar, holding multiple events called the Opening Season for the community to experience.
The Opening Season will kick off with the 28th SEA Games from June 5-16, followed by the Asian Fencing Championships from June 25-30, WWE Live Singapore on July 2, Water Fest on July 3-5 and Barclays Asia Trophy on July 15 and 18.
The Opening Season will close with the Youth Celebrate event on July 26.
Said former Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports and Speaker of Parliament Abdullah Tarmugi: "Apart from promoting a sporting culture, the Hub, through its multiple event and programme offerings, will have a huge impact on the community and which will position Singapore globally as a key destination for sports, entertainment and lifestyle events."
