Live link-up show celebrates National Day

The Flag of Independence programme was held at Thang Long Citadel in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in the south.

The event gathered thousands of people, especially students from both parts of the country. The show featured a 500-square metre flag, carried from the Opera House, through streets to the main stage at Thang Long Citadel.

The programme was part of the extensive efforts to mark the anniversary.
