Laos hosts ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community’s 15th Meeting

At the conference, Laos Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith stressed that participants will examine crucial documents to submit to ASEAN leaders for approval in the 28th ASEAN Summit.

In his speech, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep stressed cooperation within the ASEAN and between the group and its partners, focusing on employment and disaster response.

Concluding the event, a joint statement was issued, agreeing on contents of the meeting, the progress of document building, and the implementation of the ASCC Master Plan from 2015.
