At the Hưng Thịnh Spice Ltd. Co’s store, the police found some 120 kinds of goods, such as cooking oil, crisp fried powder mix and other kinds of spices and powders used in cooking.
The police also found many powder packs without labels or details of their origin.
In Hoài Đức District, the market management team’s police discovered thousands of cartons and plastic shells held by the Phát Đạt Ltd Co, which were printed with a fake Đồng Tiền (Coin) trademark.
The police also seized some one tonne of cattle meat and internal organs from a truck travelling on Highway 1A in central Quảng Trị Province yesterday.
The police ordered the driver to stop to check the goods in his truck and discovered 20 boxes containing the foul-smelling goods.
The driver failed to show valid papers for the goods and said he was hired to transport these goods to HCM City.
The meat and the organs were later destroyed by the concerned authorities.
On the same day, the police in Thanh Trì District of Hà Nội also stopped a car transporting two tonnes of foul-smelling cattle fat for consumption in the provinces.
The team seized all the fat and will send it to the concerned authorities to be destroyed.
