Vietnam to stabilise petrol imports until year-end

VTV.vn - The Ministry of Finance has confirmed it will maintain a import tax rate of 20% for petrol, 10% for diesel, mazut and jet fuel and 13% for kerosene.

The ministry announced that from January 1 next year, taxes on diesel, kerosene, mazut and jet fuel imported from ASEAN to Vietnam will fall to 0%.

The ministry said the change was part of Vietnam’s international trade commitments, movements in global prices and government policies on oil and gas business.
