Saudi Arabia signs 29 million USD loans to Vietnam

VTV.vn - The Vietnam Ministry of Finance and Saudi Fund for Development signed agreements on Saturday for 3 projects in Vietnam with a total value of 29 million USD.

The projects include a road to Tan Yen town centre in Lang Son province, an expansion of the General Hospital in Hoa Binh province, and expanding the Vocational College in Ha Nam Province. Thus far, the Saudi Fund for Development has financed 9 projects in Vietnam at a cost of 114 million USD.

These projects focus on rural infrastructure, human resource development, and climate change, among other priorities. The loans from Saudi Arabia support Vietnam's efforts to eradicate hunger and reduce poverty, as well as contribute to the main goal of improving the quality of life for Vietnamese people.
