Petrol prices drop slightly

The retail price of petrol has dropped by 178 VND per litre. With the latest adjustments, which took effect from 3 p.m. on Nov 18 following the global downward trend, a litre of RON 92 petrol was reduced to VND17.052 and E5 bio fuel to VND 16.552. Mazut also dropped by VND83 per litre.

Diesel prices, however, increased by VND124 per litre. According to the statement, retailers continue to contribute VND208 from every liter of fuel sold to the fuel price stabilization fund. This year gasoline prices in Vietnam have been adjusted 15 times, including six hikes.
