VTV.vn - Early Friday afternoon local time, banks devalued the USD against the VND. The selling price was recorded at 22,500 VND per USD.

For the past month, the dollar has increased against the dong. In many transactions, the price of the dollar neared its ceiling, surpassing the selling price set by the State Bank of Vietnam at 22,247 dong per USD.

To stabilise the market, the central bank has confirmed its willingness to sell foreign currencies if necessary.
