Vietnamese-Korean TV series to be screened on cable

VTV.vn - The successful television series Tuoi Thanh Xuan (Forever Young) will be aired on South Korean cable channel Story On at 7pm between Tuesday and Thursday from June 23.

The series is the first work by Viet Nam Television’s (VTV) Film Centre and CJ E&M Pictures from South Korea. It was already aired in Viet Nam, and earned the highest ratings among the programmes aired at the same time.

The series will be aired in South Korea with Korean subtitles.

The 36-episode series tells about the lives, dreams and choices of young Vietnamese students who study in Seoul, struggling with conflicting emotions of friendship and love.

The series was nominated for the VTV Awards 2015 in the New Series category. The two lead artists, Korean Kang Tae Oh and Vietnamese Nha Phuong, will compete for the Impressive Actor and Impressive Actress awards, respectively. The final results will be announced later this year.

An English version of the series will be also aired on Channel M, which broadcasts to Southeast Asia, Australia, Chinese Hong Kong and Taiwan.
