As many as 200 scholarships were given to children affected with Agent Orange/Dioxin and children living in coastal areas.
Earlier on September 10, the Vice State leader also attended a program "enjoying the Mid-Autumn Festival with children in the central region”.
She gave 1,000 gifts and 100 scholarships to children in central Quang Binh province. Hoang Van Tien, Director of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, said, “We organize the Mid-Autumn festivals to call on Vietnamese at home and abroad to continue to support children in the central region. Together with their families and the local administrations, we have exercised the basic rights of children. Children are enabled to go to school in any circumstances.”
