Youth's role in national development affirmed at youth day event

Themed "Youth Empowerment for the Country's Development", the event was held by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and UN agencies in Vietnam.

The event brought together youth representatives and governmental officials in order to highlight the role of young people in the country's development, with feedback and proposals coming directly from the youth.

The event also emphasised the role of the youth as a factor for innovation and future leadership for the country.
