Women's workplace equality highlighted

At the conference, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour said trade unions should put more emphasis on the promotion of the rights and interests of women in the workplace, monitoring and inspecting the policies for women so that women enjoy equal opportunities in the workplace. Participants at the conference also highlighted the fact that women all over the world were still facing challenges in equal pay, working conditions, training and promotion opportunities as well as sustainable jobs.
