Warmer weather brings crowds to Tokyo cherry blossoms spots earlier than usual

VTV.vn - Tens of thousands of locals packed Ueno park on Thursday (March 29) as Tokyo's cherry blossom came into full bloom nearly nine days earlier than usual thanks to warmer weather.

Last year over 3.5 million people visited the park to enjoy the nation's iconic flowers in the three week period of the Cherry Blossom Festival, nearly double that from the same period in 1998.
