VTV won 3 Golden Kite and 2 Silver Kite awards

At the ceremony held at the Municipal Opera House, VTV won the Golden Kites for the best TV Series (Whom to Miss, VFC), Best TV Series Director (Luu Trong Ninh and Bui Tho Thinh from VTV’s Vietnam Film Company - VFC), best Photography Director (Hoang Tich Thien from VFC).

VTV also won the Silver Kite awards for the TV Series Quiet On the Cliff (VFC) and the documentary The Promising Land (Documentary and Report Production Center).

The actor Jimmii Khanh of the VTV’s TV Series Whom to Miss won the Golden Kite for Best Supporting Actor of TV Series. Actor Trung Anh and actress Thanh Huong also won the Golden Kites for Best Male Supporting Actor and Best Female Supporting Actor for their performance in the TV Series The Judge.

The Kite awards are presented to the best Vietnamese movies and movie makers in a year. This year the Golden Kite award winner for the best movie is The Tailor.
