VTV.vn - Receiving much applause after being premiered on September 2016, Living Underground made its way back this April with its second episode.

Living underground reenacts the life and fight of the people of Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province under the Vinh Moc tunnel system during the anti-American war. Through archive footage and witnesses’ recounting, Living Underground highlights the contrast between war and peace, the past and the present, the young and the past generations. How the today’s young people cope with difficulties of the past is the attraction of the documentary.

The most dramatic part of the story is the challenge to dig a tunnel at the Si Cape in Cua Tung beach and live in the tunnel with two Vietnamese youngsters and an American one.

The first episode of Living Underground was aired in September 2016 and received positive reviews. The participation of historical witnesses is key for the success of the documentary, according to the production crew.

Living Underground will be aired at 21h30, April 21 on VTV1 channel.
