Vietnam to host world economic forum on ASEAN 2018

At a meeting with the director of the World Economic Forum in the Asia-Pacific, Justin Wood, on March 7 Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said that the World Economic Forum on ASEAN, to be held in Hanoi at the end of this year, would be an important external event for Vietnam in 2018. Deputy Prime Minister Hue hoped that this year's forum would improve on the content as well as its organisation .Wood promised to work closely with Vietnamese ministries and agencies to successfully organise the World Economic Forum on ASEAN. He said it would be an opportunity for ASEAN, especially Vietnam, to attract investment and strengthen ties with international partners.
