The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly stressed the importance of inheriting and promoting the glorious traditions of the 78 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly. The XV National Assembly has made unremitting efforts to innovate and improve the quality of its activities, achieving significant and comprehensive results in legislation, supreme supervision and decision-making on important national issues. At the local level, the activities of People's Councils have become increasingly practical and effective.

The year 2024 holds special significance in the implementation of the resolution of the XIII Party Congress and the resolution of the National Assembly on the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2021-2025). The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly expressed the hope that media agencies and journalists will continue to demonstrate a sense of responsibility, dedication, professional ethics, trust and a strong connection with the people's representative organs. He called for proactive dissemination, comprehensive and timely propaganda to bring the Party's policies, state laws and directives to life, and further contribute to building a more effective and trustworthy National Assembly and People's Councils worthy of the trust of voters and the people.

"With the glorious traditions of the revolutionary press in Vietnam, the journalism team is maturing in political spirit, professional ethics, expertise and professionalism. It is believed that the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels will continue to receive positive support from the media at both central and local levels. Journalists should continue to explore, discover and innovate to write about the National Assembly and the People's Councils, confirming their role as a bridge between the Party's ideals and the people's hearts, providing a forum for all strata of the people to contribute their passion and intelligence to the process of nation building and protection, creating positive influences, and inspiring the people's unity, aspiration, self-reliance and creative spirit to build a prosperous and happy country," stressed the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
