Vietnam's economic prospects for 2018
VTV.vn - A seminar on Vietnam's economic prospects for 2018 was held this morning.

In general, it's believed that Vietnam will continue its positive economic growth for the entire year of 2018. However, the amount of business losses has increased continuously since 2012 until now, accounting for 48% of the total number of enterprises.

If FDI enterprises continue to incur losses, it may be due to price transfer. According to reports released at the seminar, 48% of FDI enterprises and 16% of state firms have been incurring losses.

This shows that both FDI and state-owned firms have been facing difficulties, including production barriers and the fulfilment of customs duties. According to experts, the government will focus on creating policies in order to reduce costs for businesses, and create a healthy business environment.
