Vietnam calls for stronger ties at AMM 50

VTV.vn - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and representatives from EU, on the sidelines of the 50th ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting.

During meetings, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh and his counterparts agreed to improve the effectiveness of co-operation mechanisms. The deputy prime minister suggested other countries to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese products, especially agricultural products to access other markets. Regarding regional and international issues, Vietnam and other countries stressed ASEAN's central role in the region and agreed to jointly address the East Sea issues in accordance with international law.
