Vietnam: Asia's 2nd biggest spender on infrastructure
VTV.vn - Vietnam is expected to spend 600 billion USD on infrastructural development in the next 2 decades, according to recent research by the Global Infrastructure Centre.

This is the biggest amount of investment in South East Asia and the second biggest in Asia. Researchers believe that Asia has emerged as the region with the strongest demand for infrastructural enhancement. The cost for this expansion is estimated at around 52 trillion USD. Vietnam's expenditure into infrastructure makes up 5.8% of this total number, which brings it to the top of South East Asia. The study also predicts that Vietnam can satisfy 80% of the total demand for infrastructure development.
