Vegetable scarcities
VTV.vn - Prolonged flooding in the central regions and Central Highlands during the past two months has heavily damaged vegetable production.

Some regions have lost as much as 90% of their capacity, causing shortages and price rises for vegetable produce. Most vegetable price have increased three- to four-fold their usual price, and some products such as chili, peppers, or spring onions are not even available. Aside from the damage to farming, extended flooding has also damaged many roads, hindering distribution between localities.
