US$ 3.4 billion trade surplus in 4 months
VTV.vn - According to the General Statistics Office, Vietnam enjoyed a trade surplus of 3.4 billion USD in the first 4 months of this year.

Specifically, total export turnover in the last 4 months has been estimated at nearly 74 billion USD, a rise of 19% compared with the same period last year. Meanwhile, import turnover was just above 70 billion USD, a year on year increase of 10%.

The US was Vietnam's largest market, with turnover of 14 billion USD, followed by the EU, China, and ASEAN. China still remained Vietnam's biggest seller in the last 4 months, with import turnover of more than 18 billion USD, rising 5.8% year on year. Other major importers were South Korea, ASEAN, and Japan.
