VTV.vn - A new project that aims to promote equality in reproduction, sexual health, family planning and emerging issues in healthcare was signed between the Ministry of Health and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on Nov 15th.

According to the UNFPA, 30% of people aged 10 to 24 lack knowledge when it comes to sexual health, leading to unexpected pregnancies and widespread sexually transmitted infections.

With a fund of 6.4 million USD, this project will focus on promoting access to reproductive, sexual healthcare and family planning services. It will also address gender inequality at birth and gender violence among disadvantageous and vulnerable groups. The project will be implemented from now until 2021 and will target 7 northern mountainous provinces.
