Trump threatens Iran with “obliteration”

The U.S. President tweeted that if Iran attacked anything American, it would retaliate with great and overwhelming force. The threat came the same day Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said new American sanctions on the country's Supreme Leader closed off any avenue of diplomacy. Visiting Jerusalem Tuesday, U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton said the US was seeking solutions to pressure Iranian forces into leaving Syria.
