Tornado, cause of missing fisherman

The missing fisherman is 64-year-old Nguyễn Thành Khứu.

He and several other fishermen were fishing about seven nautical miles off the coast of Cua Dai when the tornado struck. While others managed to retreat back to shore in time, Khuu's basket boat was hit and capsized three nautical miles from land. The Quang Nam Border Guard Command has deployed a rescue and search fleet to look for the missing fisherman. We will continue to provide you updates on VTV4.
