Three VTV7 documentaries qualified for the final round of 28th Prix Jeunesse

VTV.vn - Three documentaries Deadline, Sister and Way to School of VTV7 won over 400 entries to be qualified for the final of 28th Prix Jeunesse.

Prix Jeunesse is a prestigious award to honor and disseminate TV productions for children.

The entries qualified for the final will be broadcast at Prix Jeunesse festival held in Munich between May 25th to 30th this year.

The documentary Way to School made by the National Education Channel VTV7 has been a success as it has won prestigious national and international awards and left deep impression on viewers about the difficult road that children from Vietnam’s mountainous regions have to overcome to go to school.

The documentary Sister tells the story of Pia, an eight year old girl of Ha Nhi ethnic minority. She was the eldest of the three children of the family. Her two brothers always cause Pia trouble and she dreams of having a sister. However, her mother gave birth to another brother which concerned Pia a lot on how to take care of them.

Sister won the Silver Prize at the National Television festival last year.

Deadline was qualified in the non-fiction category for children aged between 11 and 15.

Sister was qualified in the non-fiction category for children aged between 7 and 10.

Way to School was qualified in the non-fiction category for children aged between 7 and 10.
