The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership to replace TPP

This was announced at a press conference on the TPP this morning. Minister of Industry and Trade Trần Tuấn Anh and Japanese Economy Minister Toshimitsu Motegi hosted the press conference. According to Minister Tran Tuan Anh, some aspects remain to be considered before the CPTPP is signed. However, since the most difficult path has been crossed, ministers have ordered officials to continue with their technical work, including efforts to finalise those items on which consensus has yet to be achieved and legal verification to prepare the final text for signing.
