Sugarcane industry seeks measures to improve competitiveness

Lowering production costs is now a vital task for the industry in improving its competitiveness in the current context of integration.

In fact, this model is not much different from what is currently being applied in the sugarcane fields of a number of cooperatives in the province. However, several canals and ditches around these fields have not been filled, so the automation process hasn't achieved positive results.
