He summarized the achievements made at APEC 2017 as creating commitments to push forward with liberalizing trade and investment, agreeing to Vietnam's initiative to establish APEC Vision Group, and deepening the relationships between Vietnam and other APEC members. He also mentioned that APEC Economic Leaders' Week brought about 121 agreements and contracts worth nearly 20 billion US dollars. He also credited the success of APEC 2017 to adapting the right foreign policies for Vietnam.
