Most urban waste in Vietnam is buried. This method not only pollutes the environment but also wastes materials for recycling and consumes large areas of land for landfills. Finding effective urban waste management methods is now an urgent need.
In the coming time, the Ministry of Construction will review policies on waste treatment budgets so that recycling will be encouraged.
