Shops on Facebook to pay tax

The General Department of Taxation will collect feedback from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and other ministries, to implement compulsory business registration for Vietnamese online shops.

The Taxation General Department will also cooperate with tax agencies in countries where Google and Amazon are based to record the number of sales these businesses have had in Vietnam for tax collection.
